1.Product Introduction

SVG (Static Var Generator) is a special reactive power compensation cabinet based on power electronic technology, featuring flexible reactive power regulation for all application scenarios:


● Core Configuration: Equipped with built-in IGBT power modules (core power electronic components), reactors, DC capacitors, high-speed control units and harmonic detection modules. It covers voltage levels from 0.4kV to 35kV with compensation capacity ranging from 100kvar to 5000kvar. It can generate capacitive/inductive reactive current in real time to dynamically offset reactive power losses of the system.
● Structural Design: Adopts modular sealed cabinet (cold-rolled steel plate with anti-corrosion treatment), with independent compartments for power unit area, control area and heat dissipation area. Protection class reaches IP30/IP40 (suitable for indoor power distribution rooms). A high-definition touch screen is fitted to display reactive power curves and current harmonic data in real time.
● Practical Features: Supports continuous stepless compensation with response time ≤5ms. It can connect to grid dispatching systems for remote control. It integrates self-protection functions against overvoltage, overcurrent and IGBT faults, with a design service life of over 15 years.


2.Application Scenarios

New Energy Power Stations: For wind farms and photovoltaic power plants, installed at the 35kV collection side / 0.4kV grid connection side to compensate intermittent reactive power fluctuations, and meet grid requirements for low-voltage ride-through and power factor.


Industrial Impact Loads: Applied on the 10kV distribution side of steel plant arc furnaces and chemical plant calcium carbide furnaces to stabilize severe reactive power impact, eliminate voltage flicker and ensure uninterrupted production.
Urban Core Distribution Networks: Deployed in 10kV–35kV power networks of urban commercial districts and data centers. It compensates reactive power demands from diversified loads and guarantees stable power supply for sensitive equipment such as servers and precision instruments.
High-Voltage Motor Clusters: Used beside 6kV–10kV high-voltage motor groups in mining and metallurgical enterprises. It dynamically offsets reactive power generated during motor startup/shutdown and load variation, improves motor efficiency and reduces line losses.
